Karakorum is known as the "City of Art", known for its impressive architecture and decorations. Located in a river delta, large stone bridges and canals connects the various parts of the city. There are many stories circulating in The Great City about the rotten underbelly of Karakorum, where slaves that toil to build the city for their cruel masters live in horrible conditions, even resorting to cannibalism to survive.
Even though somewhat of a rival of The Great City, it still has sent troops to assist in times of great need. On one such occasion, the sell-sword Perilop became romantically involved with the royal princess Elvari, causing a big scandal.
