Traits (fairy / psychic)

Affinity (Ex) A pokemon who has access to a sorcerer bloodline gains access traits it's bloodline as two levels higher for all sorcerer spells and class abilities. Pokemon who have access to a cleric domain can use their domain powers and spells at +1 caster level. At a GM's approval, this evolution can apply to other class-based traits that are selected by the player at level 1 and cannot be changed, like witch patrons or shaman spirits.

Energy Bite or Energy Claw (Su) Choose a damage type. The pokemon’s natural attack damage deals 1d6 extra points of damage.

Energy Explosion: Choose a damage type. Once per day as a standard action, the monster can create a 20-foot-radius burst within 60 feet. This deals an amount of damage equal to 1d6 + the monster’s HD of the chosen type to all creatures in the burst. A successful Reflex save halves the damage.

Energy Infusion: Choose a damage type. Each time the monster uses a spell, spell-like ability, or supernatural ability that deals energy damage, it can choose to change the energy damage type dealt by that ability to the chosen type instead.

Lesser Breath Weapon (Su) Choose a damage type. The pokemon gains a breath weapon that fires a tiny glob of energy, inflicting 1d6 points of damage on a single target within 30 feet after making a successful touch attack. This power may be used at will, but must wait 1d4 rounds between uses. At fourth level, and every three levels thereafter, the lesser breath weapon increases its damage by +1.

• Breath Weapon (Su) Choose a damage type. This pokemon breathes a stream of energy which does 1d6 damage for every 2 levels (minimum 1). This breath weapon has a range of either 60 ft or a 10ft cone, and requires a reflex save to halve the damage. The pokemon can use this ability twice per day (although it must wait 1d4 rounds between uses). Breath weapon does not replace lesser breath weapon.

Psychic Feast (Ex) If a psychic lich succeeds at a Will saving throw against an attack that has a reduced effect on a successful save, it instead avoids the effect entirely. If the effect was a spell with the mind-affecting descriptor, the psychic lich also heals an amount of damage equal to 1d8 plus the spell’s caster level if it succeeds at its save. A psychic lich may automatically succeed on any Will save against a spell it casts that targets only itself.

Spell-Like Abilities (Sp) Upon taking this trait, the creature gains access to a number of spell-like abilities according to it's hit die bracket. It gains access to one spell from the following list according to its hit die bracket, which become usable once per day. If the creature has more than 4 hit die and knows at least one spell from the HD bracket one step lower, those spells will be usable three times per day. If it is higher than 9 hit die, the spells that it knows from the the HD bracket two steps below its own become usable at will. This ability can be taken multiple times to learn new spell abilities from any hit die bracket it has access to.

Constant Spell-Like Divination (Sp) Members of this creature's race can use one of the following spells (choose one) as a constant spell-like ability (the caster level is equal to the user’s character level): detect magic, detect poison, detect secret doors, detect undead

Prophetic Insight (Su) Three times per day as an immediate action, the creature can reroll any one d20 roll that it has just made before the results of the roll are revealed. It must take the result of the reroll, even if it’s worse than the original roll.

Alien Consciousness (Ex) The creature’s mind is dangerously incomprehensible to mortals who contact it. Non-aberrations that read the creature’s mind or make mental contact with it take 1d4 points of Wisdom damage (or 1d8 points of sanity damage, if you use the sanity rules from Horror Adventures). This contact also includes communication via telepathy—an creature that has telepathic capability must initiate this particular contact as a swift action against a single target in order to force its alien consciousness on another creature. A successful Will saving throw (DC = 10 + 1/2 the creature’s HD + the creature’s Charisma modifier) halves the damage. Once a creature has been subjected to the creature’s alien consciousness, it is immune to further damage from that creature’s alien consciousness for 24 hours. The creature’s summoner is immune to his own creature’s alien consciousness, but he can still be affected by other creatures’ alien consciousnesses. This is a mind-affecting effect. Requirements: summoner level 9th.

Aura of Disorientation (Su) Any living creature within 30 feet of the creature must make a successful Will save (DC 10 +1/2 the lostling’s HD + its Cha modifier) or become cursed with disorientation. Disoriented creatures suffer a -4 circumstance penalty to initiative checks, attack rolls, Acrobatics, Climb, Fly, Perception, and Swim checks (if a lost ling is CR 11 or higher this penalty increases to -8). In addition, whenever the creature moves, it must roll 1d8 to randomly determine the actual direction traveled though the creature believes it is traveling in the correct direction. If the save is successful, the foe is immune to this creature’s disorienting aura for 24 hours. This is a mind-affecting curse effect. This curse can be broken if the subject is lead around blindfolded for 24 hours by an ally, making no decisions as to the direction it will travel and only following the ally otherwise it requires a spell or effect that can remove a bestow curse spell.

Calamitous Mishap (Ex) As a swift action, once per minute, the creature can cause some calamity to befall itself and another creature within 5 feet of it. The mishap selected must be a possible result of normal circumstances,but it can be the worst possible result. For instance, lightning could strike both the creature and its foe on a cloudy day, or it could strike a tree, causing a heavy limb to fall on both targets, but lightning could not strike out of a clear sky. In some cases, the creature might be unable to cause any calamity given its surroundings. A calamity cannot affect more than the creature and a single adjacent creature of its choice. Nearly any natural misfortune may be chosen, but it must be one that is as dangerous to the  creature as it is to the other creature. Both targets must be affected equally; that is, both must make the same saving throw and suffer the same result. If the creature is wearing a ring of feather falling, it can’t choose to have the floor of the ruined keep it’s fighting in give way unless its opponent is equally immune to falling damage.   

Confusion Aura: Any creature that comes within 30 feet of the monster must attempt a Will save (DC = the monster’s ability DC – 5). If it fails, it is confused for a number of rounds equal to the monster’s CR. If it succeeds, it can’t be affected again by this aura for 24 hours. The range increases to 60 feet at CR 10 and to 120 feet at CR 20.

Emotion Aura (Su) A creature with this ability surrounds itself with an area of swirling, chaotic emotions. These emotions make it difficult for spellcasters to cast spells with the emotion component. Living creatures within 30 feet must succeed at a concentration check (DC = 10 + 1/2 the HD of the creature with an emotion aura + that creature’s Charisma modifier) to cast a spell with an emotion component. Failing this check causes the spell to be lost with no effect. In addition, any spellcaster casting spells with the emotion or fear descriptor on targets inside this aura must succeed at this check or the spell fails to affect targets within the aura (although others outside the area are affected as normal). Creatures with this ability are immune to its effects and can cast spells normally. 

Turn of Fate (Ex) Once per day, the creature can reroll any failed roll it has just made. It must accept the results of the second roll.

Twisted Fortune (Sp) At 1st level, you can use your supernatural insight to hijack the fortunes of a single target within 30 feet. For 1 round, the target becomes confused and cannot directly control its actions (Will negates). Once a creature has been affected by twisted fortune, it is immune to the ability’s effects for 24 hours. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Cha modifier.

Hypnotic (2 EP) Members of this creature's race add +1 to the DC for all saving throws against spells or effects they cast that inflict the fascinated condition. Once per day, when a creature rolls a saving throw against such an effect from a member of this creature's race, the member of the creature's race can force that creature to reroll the saving throw and use the second result, even if it is worse. 

Illusion Resistance  (Ex)    Members of this creature's race gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against illusion spells or effects.  

Nereid Fascination (3 EP) Members of this creature's race gain the following supernatural ability: 1/day—a member of this creature's race can create a 20-foot-radius burst that causes humanoids within the aura’s range to become fascinated with the user (as the bard’s fascinate bardic performance). Affected humanoids may resist this effect by making a successful Will saving throw (DC 10 + 1/2 the user’s character level + the user’s Charisma modifier).

Object of Desire (1 EP) Members of this creature's race add +1 to their caster level when casting charm person and charm monster.

Seducer (2 EP)  Prerequisites: The creature's race has at least a +2 racial bonus to Charisma. Benefit: Members of this creature's race add +1 to the saving throw DCs for their spells and spell-like abilities of the enchantment school. In addition, members of this creature's race with a Wisdom score of 15 or higher gain the following spell-like ability (the caster level is equal to the user’s character level): 1/day—charm person

Shadow Caster (2 EP) Members of this creature's race add +1 to the saving throw DCs for their spells and spell-like abilities of the illusion (shadow) subschool.

Shadow Magic (Su)  (2 EP) Members of this creature's race add +1 to the DC of any saving throws against spells of the shadow subschool that they cast. Members of this creature's race with a Charisma score of 11 or higher also gain the following spell-like abilities (the caster level is equal to the user’s character level): 1/day—ghost sound, pass without trace, ventriloquism

Spell Resistance, Lesser (Ex)  Members of this creature's race gain spell resistance equal to 6 + their character level.

• Spell Resistance, Greater (Ex)  Members of this creature's race gain spell resistance equal to 11 + their character level. The creature must have lesser spell resistance in order to take this trait.
  

Svirfneblin Magic (2 EP)  Members of this creature's race add +1 to the DC of any illusion spells they cast. They also gain the following spell-like abilities (the caster level is equal to the user’s character level): Constant—nondetection; 1/day—blindness/deafness, blur, disguise self. The DC for the spells is equal to 10 + the spell’s level + the caster’s Charisma modifier.

Vanish (Ex)  As a swift action, the creature can vanish for 1 round as if affected by invisibility. Each day, it can use this ability for 1 round per Hit Die. This ability’s duration need not be used all at once, but it must be used in 1-round increments.

Magical Linguist (2 EP)  Members of this creature's race gain a +1 bonus to the DC of spells they cast that have the language-dependent descriptor or that create glyphs, symbols, or other magical writings. They also gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against such spells. Members of this creature's race with a Charisma score of 11 or higher also gain the following spell-like abilities (the caster level is equal to the user’s character level): 1/day—arcane mark, comprehend languages, message, read magic.

Madness (Su) Anyone targeting this creature with a thought detection, mind control, or telepathic effect makes direct contact with its tortured mind and takes 1d4 points of Wisdom damage.

Thoughtsense Creatures with this ability automatically detect and locate conscious creatures within the specified range (usually 60 feet). This ability functions similarly to blindsight. Nondetection, mind blank, and similar effects can block thoughtsense. Thoughtsense can distinguish between sentient (Intelligence 3 or greater) and non-sentient (Intelligence 1–2) creatures, but otherwise provides no information about the creatures it detects.    This is a supernatural ability.

Voiceless (Ex) An Ib shade has no voice and cannot speak or take any verbal action as a result. An Ib shade that gains a level in a spellcasting class automatically replaces any verbal components required by its spells with thought components.

Charming Gaze (Su) Charm person, range 30 ft., Will DC 14 negates. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Command the Afflicted (Su) By expending 2 uses of mythic power, a mythic jinmenju can control all creatures within 30 feet that are under the effects of the poison of its head-fruits. This acts as dominate monster (DC 23 Will negates), with a duration of 1 round per mythic rank of the jinmenju. The commands of the mythic jinmenju replace any actions a creature would normally take in its confused state. The saving throw DC is Constitution-based.

Dance of Death (Su) A danse macabre is constantly surrounded by a 40-foot aura known as the dance of death, an endless gala of dancing spectral figures. Any living creature that enters the area of the dance of death must make a DC 25 Will save. On a failed Will save, the victim joins the ghostly dancers, takes 1d4 points of Constitution drain, and is affected as if by the spell irresistible dance. These effects persist for as long as the victim remains within the aura. As victims cannot willingly move from the square they dance in, the dance’s effects end only when the danse macabre moves to a point where the victim is no longer within its aura, is destroyed, or if the victim is physically removed from the area. The save DC is Charisma-based. This is a mind-affecting compulsion effect, and neither blindness nor deafness provide resistance. A victim who makes a successful save is immune to the dance of death of the same dance macabre for 24 hours. The spectral images surrounding a dance macabre are entirely insubstantial and harmless. At the same time, a ghostly music can be faintly heard in the area, as if a violin-led orchestra kept time to this ghostly dancing. The dancers and music cannot be interacted with but visibly and audibly mark the boundaries of the danse macabre’s dance of death aura.

Hope Theft (Sp) As a swift action at unlimited range, a lotus tree can permanently charm a hallucinating creature (as per mass charm monster but with no save bonus for hostility) unless it succeeds at a DC 29 Will save. Affected victims forget all longterm goals, desiring only more hallucinations, and grant the tree temporary PE equal to half their Hit Dice and 5 times that amount in temporary hit points for 1 day. Regardless of the save, the target automatically is affected as per mindwipe.

• Hallucination (Su) A living creature that starts her turn within 60 feet of a lotus tree or eats its fruit hallucinates pleasantly as per synesthesia (DC 30 Will negates) for 4d6 hours. The hallucinations include a humanoid figure of shifting colors that conveys the tree’s telepathy and thoughtsense across any range, allowing the hallucinating creature to act as the tree’s proxy. Suppressing or resuming the aura is a free action. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Hypnotic Display (Ex) Once per day as a standard action, a nirento can sway and dance in such a way that it attracts any who see the tree within a 60-foot radius. Any creatures other than nirentos in the area must succeed at a DC 17 Will save or become entranced by the nirento’s graceful movements, thereafter believing the nirento to be a perfectly normal tree. Affected creatures become passive for 1d6 minutes and refuse to attack the nirento during this time. Affected creatures can attempt a new Will save each round that the nirento attacks an ally—if a hypnotized creature is attacked by the nirento, it gains a +4 bonus on its Will save to see through the hypnotic display. This is a mind-affecting compulsion effect. The save DC is Constitution-based.

Memory Haze (Ex) The intoxicating scent given off by this creature causes memory loss to those affected by its spores. Anyone creature hit by a spore attack must make a DC 11 Will save or suffer 1 point of Wisdom damage. Any creature who suffers Wisdom damage from the creature suffers minor memory loss for a period of 5 minutes prior to and 5 minutes after the ability damage is inflicted.

This is a cumulative effect, with additional Wisdom damage inflicted by the spore attack extending the period of memory loss by 5 additional minutes in both directions. Creatures who suffer from this memory loss must make a DC 11 Wisdom check to recall specific details during that period of time. This is a mind-affecting effect. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Madness (Su) Anyone targeting this creature with a thought detection, mind control, or telepathic effect makes direct contact with its tortured mind and takes 1d4 points of Wisdom damage.

Rage Thrall (Su) If an exiled shade deals a cumulative amount of Intelligence damage greater than or equal to a humanoid target’s actual Intelligence score, the affected creature does not fall unconscious as normal. Instead, the target ceases to take penalties from its Intelligence damage and falls under the control of the exiled shade, as per dominate person. Creatures so dominated cannot attempt new saving throws to escape the shade’s control until their Intelligence damage no longer equals or exceeds their actual Intelligence score. An exiled shade can control only a single creature in this manner. If an exiled shade deals enough Intelligence damage to a second creature to activate this ability, the first creature is relinquished from its control (though it might immediately fall unconscious if its Intelligence damage equals or exceeds its actual Intelligence score).

• Intelligence Damage (Su) An exiled shade’s touch clouds the target’s mind with anger and resentment, dealing 1d6 points of Intelligence damage. This is an emotion-based, mind-affecting, negative energy effect.
  

Stubborn (Ex)   Members of this creature's race gain a +2 racial bonus on Will saving throws to resist spells and spell-like abilities of the enchantment (charm) and enchantment (compulsion) subschools. In addition, if a member of this creature's race fails such a save, it receives another save 1 round later to prematurely end the effect (assuming the spell or spell-like ability has a duration greater than 1 round). This second save is made at the same DC as the first. If the member of the creature's race has a similar ability from another source (such as a rogue’s slippery mind class feature), it can only use one of these abilities per round, but can try the other on the second round if the first reroll ability fails.

Metamagic Spell: Choose one metamagic feat and one spell the monster knows. That spell gains the benefit of the chosen metamagic feat once per day.

Arcane Focus (1 EP) Members of this creature's race gain a +2 racial bonus on concentration checks made to cast arcane spells defensively.

Combat Casting: The monster gains a +6 bonus on concentration checks.

Mage Killer (Ex) The DC to cast defensively when threatened by this monster increases by 4. Casters that fail attempts to cast defensively provoke attacks of opportunity from this monster.

Mage Punisher (Ex) Whenever an enemy within the monster’s reach successfully casts a spell defensively, that enemy provokes an attack of opportunity from the monster after the spell is complete.

Magical Aptitude: When attempting a Spellcraft or Use Magic Device check, the monster rolls twice and takes the higher result.

Mental Static Aura (Su) A creature with this ability creates a field around it that makes concentrating difficult for those without this ability. Living creatures within 30 feet must succeed at a concentration check (DC = 10 + 1/2 the HD of the creature with a mental static aura + that creature’s Charisma modifier) to cast a spell with a thought component. Failing this check causes the spell to be lost with no effect. In addition, all spellcasters must attempt this check at the start of their turns if they are concentrating on an active spell or effect. Failing it means that they cease concentrating on the spell or effect. Creatures with this ability are immune to its effects and can cast spells normally. 

Potent Magic Damage: Choose a spell subschool or descriptor, such as fire or phantasm). The monster’s spells and spell-like abilities of the chosen type deal an additional 1 point of damage per damage die.

Spell Combat: The monster’s attacks use the low attack value, but when it makes a full attack the monster can also cast any spell it knows that has a casting time of 1 standard action.

Spontaneous Casting: The monster can spontaneously replace its normal spells with spells of the same level of a particular type. Choose cure spells, inflict spells, summon nature’s ally spells, or any type of spell that has one spell per level in a similar fashion. Spontaneously casting a spell in this way uses up the daily use of a spell. A monster must have the spellcaster array to gain this option.

Spellstrike: Whenever the monster casts a spell with a range of touch, it can deliver the spell as part of a melee attack. The monster makes the melee attack in place of the spell’s touch attack. On a hit, the attack deals normal damage and the spell takes effect.

Deep Magic (3 EP) Members of this creature's race gain a +2 racial bonus on caster level checks made to overcome spell resistance and a +2 racial bonus on dispel checks.

Dispelling Critical (Su) Whenever a spellscarred fext successfully scores a critical hit with its slam attack, the creature struck must succeed at a DC 19 Will save or be affected as though by the targeted dispel version of a dispel magic spell (caster level 10th). The save DC is Charisma-based.

Elven Magic (3 EP) Members of this creature's race gain a +2 bonus on caster level checks made to overcome spell resistance. In addition, they also receive a +2 racial bonus on Spellcraft checks made to identify the properties of magic items.

Ravage Magic (Su) Any targeted spell or spell-like ability that fails to penetrate a spellscarred fext’s spell resistance is absorbed by the fext and warped into a form of primal magic. A spellscarred fext can twist only a number of spell levels per round equal to its Charisma modifier (4 for most spellscarred fexts); any spells in excess of this limit automatically bypass a spellscarred fext’s spell resistance and don’t trigger this ability. Roll on the following table to determine the effect of a spell that has been affected by a spellscarred fext’s ravage magic ability.

• 41–70 The spellscarred fext emits a burst of negative energy, dealing a number of points of negative energy damage equal to 1d6 x the spell level of the triggering spell to all creatures in a 30-foot-radius burst.
• 71–90 The spellscarred fext instantly switches places with the spellcaster that targeted the fext with the triggering spell as though by dimension door.
• 91–100 The spell is immediately turned back on its caster via spell turning.
  

Spell Penetration: The monster gains a +2 bonus on caster level checks to overcome a creature’s spell resistance. At CR 11, the bonus increases to +4.

Spell Reflection (Ex) Any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance and targets the creature (or includes it in its area of effect) is reflected back on the caster if the creature successfully resists the spell or effect. The original caster becomes the spell’s target (or its point of origin in the case of area spells). A reflected spell can be resisted normally by the caster (and any other creatures affected).

Dimensional Steps: As a standard action, the monster teleports to an open space it can see within 150 feet of it.

Hostile Teleport (Sp) As a standard action, a pixie circle can attempt to teleport a creature within 60 feet that has taken at least 1 point of Constitution damage from the pixie circle’s withering ability. The target creature is instantly transported to the location of another random pixie circle within 1,000 miles. If there is no eligible pixie circle within range, the effect fails. A creature can resist being teleported with a successful DC 15 Will save. The save DC is Charisma-based.

• Withering (Ex) A creature damaged by a pixie circle’s vines must succeed at a DC 19 Fortitude save or take 1 point of Constitution damage. A creature’s speed is reduced by 5 feet for every 2 points of Constitution damage it takes in this way, to a minimum speed of 5 feet. Curing any of this Constitution damage restores a creature’s movement to its full speed. This is a poison effect. The save DC is Constitution-based.

Mirror Jump (Su) A bloody bones can use its dimension door spell-like ability to leap between reflective surfaces within range of each other (such as mirrors, darkened windows, or calm water), but can also opt to remain in hiding within such a reflection. The reflective surface must be large enough for the bloody bones to pass through with ease (at least 2 feet wide and 2 feet tall). While hidden this way, the bloody bones can use its lifesense to detect prey near the reflective surface. When an adjacent victim looks into the surface, the bloody bones can leap out as a swift action (often appearing as though the target’s own skeleton were ripping free to attack) and manifest in any square adjacent to the viewer. When a bloody bones uses this action, all creatures within 30 feet must succeed at a DC 22 Will save or be staggered for 1d4 rounds, and the triggering viewer takes a –4 penalty on this saving throw. The staggering effect is a mind-affecting fear effect. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Teleport Other (Su) Once per day as a standard action, a crypt thing can teleport all creatures within 50 feet of it to a randomly determined location. An affected creature can attempt a DC 20 Will save to negate the effects. The save DC is Charisma-based and includes a +2 racial bonus. An affected creature is teleported in a random direction (roll 1d4: 1, north; 2, south; 3, east; 4, west) and a random distance (1d10 x 100 feet) away from the crypt thing. Roll randomly for each creature that fails its saving throw. A teleported creature arrives in the closest open space at the determined destination. A teleported creature can arrive in mid-air rather than on a solid surface, if the crypt thing wishes. A creature that arrives in mid-air takes falling damage when it contacts a solid surface (unless it has some means to prevent falling, such as the ability to fly, or a feather fall spell).

Mind Blast (Sp) Once per day, the creature can use a mind blast in a 60-foot cone. Any creature caught in the cone must succeed on a DC 14 Will save or be stunned for 3d4 rounds. The save DC is Charisma-based and includes a +2 racial bonus.

Devour Magic (Ex) When a creature casts a spell within 30 feet of this pokemon, the pokemon gains 1 PE. If the spell was a psychic spell, the pokemon instead gains a number of PE equal to the level of the spell.

Psychic Resilience (Ex) Creatures with this ability are resistant to the effects of many psychic spells. They gain a +4 bonus on saving throws against all psychic spells.

Vulnerable to Psychic Magic (Ex) These creatures are particularly susceptible to psychic spells and attacks, as the entire force that animates them is composed of psychic energy. They take a –4 penalty on saving throws against psychic spells and effects.

Psychic Magic (Sp) This pokemon's lineage is surprisingly mentally competent, and as it grows stronger is able to use the power of its mind to cast certain spells as denoted by that Pokemon's HD bracket. This pokemon's Spell-like abilities are performed using psychic magic rather than arcane magic. Each spell cast using psychic magic consumes an amount of psychic energy. The creature has a maximum amount of psychic energy (PE) per day that refreshes after a night’s rest. The total number of Psychic Energy (PE) a pokemon has each day is equal to the amount of evolution points an Eidolon of the same number of hit die would have. The PE cost of an individual spell is equal to the level tier of the spell.

A creature with this ability can cast any of these chosen spells as long as it has enough psychic energy remaining to pay the spell’s PE cost. The DC for any of these spells is equal to 10 + the amount of psychic energy used to cast the spell + the creature’s Charisma or Intelligence modifier (whichever is higher). Creatures that gain access to undercast spells via this ability can cast an undercast version of the spell by spending 1 PE fewer for each level lower that the spell is cast. A psychic magic spell with a PE cost of 0 can be cast any number of times, and can be cast even if the creature has 0 PE remaining. The psychic magic granted by this ability has the same thought and emotion components as psychic spells. The monster can apply metamagic feats to these spells by spending an amount of additional PE equal to the level increase of the metamagic feat and by increasing the casting time as normal for spontaneously casting a metamagic spell. Because this ability grants psychic spellcasting, it also allows the creature to use occult skill unlocks.

The creature’s caster level is equal to the creature’s Hit Dice – 2 (minimum CL 1st). The save DC equals 10 + 1/2 the creature’s HD + the creature’s Charisma modifier.

This trait replaces Spell-like Abilities (Sp). Any spells already learned through Spell-like abilities can instead be used with Psychic Energy.

Spellcasting An icegaunt casts spells as a 5th level druid. It does not gain the other class abilities of a druid, such as domains or an animal companion.

Upon taking this trait, the creature gains access to a number of spell-like abilities according to it's hit die bracket. It gains access to one spell from the following list according to its hit die bracket, which become usable once per day. If the creature has more than 4 hit die and knows at least one spell from the HD bracket one step lower, those spells will be usable three times per day. If it is higher than 9 hit die, the spells that it knows from the the HD bracket two steps below its own become usable at will. This ability can be taken multiple times to learn new spell abilities from any hit die bracket it has access to.

Enclave Protector (2 EP) Members of this creature's race add +1 to the caster level of any abjuration spells they cast. Members of this creature's race also gain the following spell-like abilities (the caster level is equal to the user’s character level): Constant—nondetection; 1/day—faerie fire, obscure object, sanctuary

Envoy (1 EP) Members of this creature's race with an Intelligence score of 11 or higher gain the following spell-like abilities (the caster level is equal to the user’s character level): 1/day—comprehend languages, detect magic, detect poison, read magic.    

Gnome Magic (2 EP)  Members of this creature's race gain a +1 bonus to the DC of any saving throws against illusion spells that they cast. Members of this creature's race with a Charisma score of 11 or higher also gain the following spell-like abilities (the caster level is equal to the user’s character level): 1/day—dancing lights, ghost sound, prestidigitation, speak with animals. The DC is equal to 10 + the spell’s level + the user’s Charisma modifier.

Samsaran Magic  (2 EP) Members of this creature's race with a Charisma score of 11 or higher gain the following spell-like abilities (the caster level is equal to the user’s character level): 1/day—comprehend languages, deathwatch, stabilize

Fey-touched creatures are descended from inhabitants of the First World and often possess striking features compared to their normal counterparts, such as bright coloration or a cunning visage. The fey-touched creature’s First World ancestor needn’t be a fey specifically, and even magical beasts, First World gnomes, and other non-fey inhabitants of the fecund, magical plane can produce fey-touched heirs generations after their initial dalliance with residents of other planes. Some fey-touched creatures thus claim to be descended from the legendary Tane and even the godlike Eldest, though these claims are likely unfounded—such claims themselves intentional or accidental manifestations of the creature’s hereditary First World influence.

A fey-touched creature’s CR increases by 1 only if the base creature has 5 or more Hit Dice. The fey-touched creature template can be applied only to living creatures. A fey-touched creature’s quick and rebuild rules are the same. Spellcasters with ties to the fey (such as sorcerers with the fey bloodline) can summon fey-touched creatures with summon monster spells and take fey-touched creatures as improved familiars at 3rd level, similar to selecting celestial or infernal familiars.

SR The creature gains spell resistance equal to its new CR +5

Special Qualities change shape (a single fixed Small or Medium humanoid form; alter self), woodland stride (as the druid ability).
