The Morning Mountains are a massive mountain chain that marks the eastern border of the Westlands, separating it from the Great Plain, and the rest of what was once The Empire.
There are two passes through the mountains, the Northpass to the north, leading into what was once Eastmarch, and Griffon Pass to the south, leading into the Great Plain. The Griffon Pass is guarded by the mighty Silvery Gates and Griffon Keep.
