Dritherin is an ancient dragon, who somehow resists his kind's normal compulsion to gather and keep a hoard of treasure. Instead, parts of the hoard may be lended for a time to nations who need money. The dragon can be sated with the promise of a growing hoard (due to interest) for a time.
