Recently finishing a fight, the party looks around for any loot of interest and stumble across a book detailing the grisly proceedings that happened at one point in the past.
Finding the source of the cries again, the specter of Mrs Durst bursts through her portrait and speaks ill of the party and even her own family. Gust is able to quickly snatch the golden key from her neck as the party briskly makes their way into the lowest levels of the dungeon while a ghostly chanting beckons them.
There, they find a strange reliquary of several items surrounding the chamber. Touching a few caused the items to erode into dust before the party's eyes.
Finally, the group reached a room with an altar at the center. A bundle was placed on the altar and after opening it, they discovered a sacrificial dagger. As the chants changed and began to demand a sacrifice, Gust made the quick decision to stab Lugosi with the knife many times before killing it. The chanting suddenly changed and summoned a wretched beast that came bursting through the wall.
The monster's roars sound both demonic and of a child's. After a few rounds, the group began to notice a crying baby within that had tendrils holding the baby in place. These tendrils began to weaken with damage to the beast itself.
