The party left the Vistani camp at Tser Pool heading towards the town of Vallaki. Soon enough they reached the base of Tser Falls and made the thousand-foot climb up a rocky trail to the end of a great spanning bridge. In the center of the bridge, sitting on the ledge in meditation, was Kirin's friend Ashen. Once Kirin approached, Ashen fell down into the falls below.
Pushing forward, the group arrived at a second set of large gates that opened to allow them through. Leaving the castle behind them, they entered the larger valley below. In the distance, a Vallaki near a large lake is barely visible through the mists.
A friendly Vistani named Arrigal rode by the group for a moment and, after making some conversation, requested a toy for his niece from the famous toy shop Blinsky Toys.
After nearing 8 hours of travel, the group begins to look for a place to camp and passes by an old mill. After being harassed by a crow who Iolas shot, the party noticed the mill wasn't empty. Wagner partially broke the front door, to the displeasure of the person inside.
Quickly they met Bella, the daughter of Granny from the Village of Barovia, the same woman who sold the group the dream pastries. Inside the mill was where they were baking their many flavored pastries. After getting the group to buy at least 8 pastries, Bella allowed them to stay the night in the windmill on the first floor. In the night a crying was heard from somewhere upstairs and Carýll and Iolas went to investigate. After sneaking by Bella's sister Ophelia who was operating the mill on the 2nd floor, they proceeded to the 3rd floor. There, they discovered children being held captive in small crates. Granny Morgantha returned home, much to the surprise of the party.
After Caryll and Iolas woke the rest of the group (sans Caleb and Domitrius), Wagner immediately engaged the women in combat. After a few rounds, the entire group was quickly and easily turned into frogs or put to sleep.
