The party spoke with Jeni Greentree and Kirin secured a discount on some potions by drinking a liquid that made him grow a thick, long, white beard while Jeni excitedly took notes. They were also able to make some money by selling off some gems to her. Wagner then returned his borrowed armor to Rowley at The Cracked Anvil.
After trying and failing to gain audience with Lady Fiona Wachter, the group decided to try and gather information on their own terms. The party eavesdropped and peaked through windows of the Wachterhaus estate to get a general feel for those inside. They noticed a few house staff as well as the Wachterbrothers discussing their plans to go to the tavern for drinks.
Caleb summoned a spider and explored further inside. He was able to get a quick lay of the land and identify Lady Wachter herself. She was writing a letter to a friend mentioning that her daughter had some sort of illness. Before he was able to read further, he was caught by the lady of the house before vanishing. Eventually, the group was driven away from the house by a guard for loitering and decided to retreat to the tavern.
At the Blue Water Inn, Ireena introduced the party to Vasili von Holtz, an accountant for businesses and the wealthy in town, whom she had met while wandering Vallaki. Vasili was able to provide the group with some information on Lady Fiona Wachter and how to perhaps gain her attention.
They then met the Wachterbrothers, who complained loudly about the town's diminishing wine supply. The group played to the brother's ego and purchased them some wine. The party then suggested that perhaps they could secure some wine for the town and for the brothers themselves from The Wizard of Wines Winery.
Danika Martikov, the bartender and part owner of the Inn, was grateful for the offer and let the group know that although help wasn't necessary, it was always welcome and would be returned in kind. She let the group know that the vineyard was owned by her husband Urwin Martikov's father and that if they wanted more info on it, they could speak with him about it. The two Wachter boys, pleased with their apparent notoriety with the group, left to go find something better to do after drinking their wine.
