The party entered the Vallaki Town Square to join the Festival of the Blazing Sun. Right away, they played some odd games and visited the various available stalls. At one game, they ran into Vasili who reminded them that today would be a good opportunity to get Lady Wachter's attention.
Another stall was being run by the friendly Gadof Blinsky and after brief conversation, they notice a very familiar looking doll. This toy looking remarkably like Ireena Kolyanovich down to the red hair. Sticking around the area, they managed to notice the captain of the Vallaki guard, Izek Strazni collecting the doll from a terrified looking Blinsky.
A sad looking parade marked the finale and was led by the Town BurgomasterBaron Vargas Vallakovich along with his wife, son, and dogs. After a short speech about the safety of the town and a forced public acknowledgment from the group that "All Will Be Well", a giant wicker sun was suspended in the air. As a finale, the Baron attempted to light the sun, but was thwarted by a sudden downpour. A sharp laugh from the crowd infuriated Vargas as he immediately had the offender, a guard, arrested. In a show of strength, Caleb set the wicker sun ablaze to gather attention as the group began to outcry the Baron to a crowd with mixed agreement. The Burgomaster, infuriated by this display of insolence, kicked the group out of town.
Just as they are leaving the gates, Izek arrests Ireena, leaving the party outside of town in the quickly approaching darkness of night.
