The kroyer is a native Oceanykan tuber crop, grown by Ferozen communities since time immemorial. The plant can survive on most climates comfortably, and grows extremely rapidly, but is weak to disease. Its taste is, strangely, somewhat fleshy. The kroyer's gastronomical purpose is similar to that of the potato, with which it has competed economically since the latter's introduction.
