Huntsman Spider

The huntsman spider is a fairly large arachnid, at up to 12cm wide with its legs spread. It is highly intelligent and carries a powerful bite, though it rarely poses a threat to humans. Quite the contrary, huntsman spiders are normally friendly towards human beings and usually cohabitate with them. Oceanykans protect the spiders from large predators, while the small critters eat any invaders that may enter their home. They do not seem to attack jumping spiders, either, unless they are starving.
