The FSRD's small arms are made using the best mechanical engineering and metallurgical techniques known to Oceanyka. This weapon can fire Armour Piercing Hellshot without further modifications and may reroll any hit or damage roll once per turn.
The AKM-64/SP (Special Purpose) is a 7.62x39mm assault rifle based in the standard AKM design. However, many changes have been made to ensure cutting-edge combat effectiveness. The grip, handguard, stock and magazines are manufactured from strong, light polymers giving the weapon a space age feel despite being the good, old and reliable AKM system. The metallic parts have been replaced with alter-metal versions for greater physical stress resistance, thermal protection and accuracy at much higher production costs. Its barrel is chrome-lined and manufactured to match-grade standards. Any standard Soviet mounted systems can be put on the AKM-64/SP. The reason for this outrageously expensive design is that the FSRD's AKM-64/SP can safely fire Armour Piercing Hellshot, even in fully automatic mode.
