Oceanyka's single most important economic sector is that of resource extraction; mining, drilling, woodcutting, etc. Nature's bounty is mercilessly looted for use in the Atomic Age's great industrial centres, including those of Oceanyka itself. Practically every important industrial resource can be found within the landmass.
