Duralumin is an alloy designed to exploit aluminium's low weight, while making it much stronger. Magnesium, manganese and copper are added in small proportions. It immediately proved extremely popular for the mass production of aircraft. Duralumin is constantly in demand, though domestic production is high, due to Oceanyka's rich bauxite deposits.
