Piracy is a huge employment field in Oceanyka. Seaborne raiding within Oceanyka's coasts and beyond is fairly common, and the profits are huge, but so are the risks. Common pirates usually have access to mediocre equipment and vessels, but medium-sized groups may possess destroyers or cruisers. The Farenday Pirates has a loose monopoly on the pirate fame, but the grand majority of these groups are still independent and rule by their own law of the sea.
