Farenday Pirates' Navy

The main power projection method of the Farenday Pirate Syndicate and also a major source of income. The FPN patrols the Pacific and Indian seas plundering vessels, raiding settlements and occasionally mounting hit-and-run attacks on cities. Their naval supremacy has been internally unchallenged since its formation. The Oceanykan Constitution dictates the FPN serves as the nation's primary navy during wartime. This function was only fully utilised once during the New Caledonian War. The FPN mostly uses Weltkrieg-era ships which they have carefully maintained and upgraded with the years. Their most deadly asset is the epitome of Fleet-in-Being doctrine; the FPN Floating Fortress. It is a carrier, a super battleship and an anti air platform in one. However it is very expensive, stays in port the vast majority of the time and was severely damaged during the 1961 German raid on Farenday. It has since been repaired and put back in commission, with even more modern weaponry.
