The Danae-class is a light cruiser design commissioned by what used to be the Royal Navy during the Great War. It features a massive amount of torpedo tubes, which historically enabled it to confidently harass German capital ships. Over half of the cruisers were sold off to the world market following the collapse of the British Empire. Unsurprisingly, Oceanykan sailors wishing for top-of-the-line warships bought a few of these, and reproduced them.

As a light cruiser, the Danae-class can confidently engage smaller ships, but must retreat or skirmish when faced with anything larger than itself. Its size and equipment also make it a formidable supporting screen for capital warships. Unfortunately, the Danae-class is particularly dated, and difficult to retrofit with modern weapons.
