Australian Workers' Union

The Australian Worker's Union is an association of worker cooperatives, trade unions and syndicates which has existed for a long time, and was once the backbone of the new defunct Labour Party. Under the OPP, this organisation has gained tremendous power and influence, rising to challenge Oceanyka's armed corporations. They cooperate with the Federal Government to provide jobs, construction, weapons, supplies, consumer goods and anything it might need. However its reach is very limited outside of the cities of Cestlep and Melbourne. Still, most citizens of these two regions agree that the AWU has been a positive influence on them. Scandals of bribes and abuse have surfaced in a few sectors, but nothing major has been revealed. It is one of the few worker-owned armed corporations.
