Hunters

Hunting is alive in Oceanyka, as both a sport and profession, perhaps more than anywhere else in the world, and perhaps it has always been that way; the history of human settlement in Oceanyka is largely one of man against nature. Technology has given mankind a definitive advantage, but some creatures go beyond the limits of your average old-world beast, true monsters of the Oceanykan ecosystem. Hunters by profession do so largely to sell the meat, hide, horns, claws, and other such parts off their prey. They also make for excellent soldiers should the need arise.
