The Henry .45-70 is a modern reimagining of the classic lever-action rifle, chambered in .45-70; a big, heavy black powder cartridge. However, the action is strong enough thanks to a century of advancements in metallurgy, that smokeless powder loads can be used with caution. Despite its looks, the Henry .45-70 is a fairly modern rifle, which only recently entered the civilian market. Because of its characteristics, power and the lack of military export controls, the Henry company exports large amounts of these rifles to Oceanyka, where demand quickly outstripped supply by far.
