Armoured Gunmech

The armoured gunmech has similar combat capabilities to a mid 20th century tank. However, despite being much slower and taller than tracked armoured vehicles, gunmechs can usually traverse rough terrain with greater ease, have greater sensory awareness, and can shoot from concealed positions. Though more expensive to produce than tanks, because of their niche and revolutionary bipedal drive, armoured gunmechs can dominate the battlefield under certain conditions. The most common weapon on these platforms is a variety of the D-5T tank gun.
