Black Factories

The Black Factories are underground automated facilities constructed by the Precursors for waging total war against the surface. They mine, process ore, manufacture parts and assemble robots with no exterior input. The vast majority remain dormant, though in recent times more and more of these hellish creations have activated, creating hordes of berserker drones which secret societies must dispose of. To raid and destroy a Black Factory is something only the best equipped and trained units can manage. Alternatively, bunker buster nuclear bombs are always an option.
