Pararachnids are arthropod cryptids of about a fist in size in their infant stage, in which they feed on small prey. However, upon finding a suitable host, they will enter their mouth during sleep and become parasitic, feeding off whatever the host eats. After about a month, the victim will have a massively inflated back, where the newly grown arachnid resides. It will then begin laying eggs within the host, which will eventually hatch and eat them from the inside. If the pararachnid senses immediate danger from the outside world, it will take control of the host's nervous system and its limbs will burst out of its back, preparing it for combat.
