The 5cm PaK 38 is a German anti-tank gun which was introduced shortly before WW2. It was Germany's "medium" anti-tank weapon, arming many of its Panzer III and Panzer IV designs (as the KwK 38), until further advances in armor technology forced them to come up with 7.5cm alternatives. Though unable to engage modern tanks, the PaK 38 today is still a fearsome long-range anti-personnel weapon.
