The Grand Duchy of Diogott is a microstate located in South Tyrol. It is ruled by Grand Duke Karl Eduard II as an absolute monarchy, firmly protestant and loyal to the German language and its customs. It has petitioned 351 times to join the Danubian Confederation, but the letters it sends through the Italian Post Office keep mysteriously disappearing. Surrounded on all directions by the Kingdom of Italy, DIogott's only other neighbour is the devilish Prince-Bisphoric of Diteufel, whose capital is about 20 kilometres south. The Grand Duchy's capital is in the city of Meran, and its economy is almost wholly agrarian in nature.
