The StG-44 is a German assault rifle chambered in 7.92x33mm Kurz, beginning mass production in the final years of the Second Weltkrieg. The outgunned German infantry highly welcomed the StG-44 as a significant force multiplier. For many years the StG was the most produced assault rifle on Earth and a testament to cheap, effective infantry weapons. A lot of them can be found in Oceanyka, but the AKM has already replaced it as the most popular assault rifle due to the Soviet and Chinese willingness to sell them to everyone at affordable price (contrary to the German government, that did not use the StG to arm insurgencies or make cash from dubious parts of the world. Too much.) German garrisons in the far corners of the empire still use the venerable Sturmgewehr as it has only been a decade or so since its replacement was designed.
