The Silent Sniper System is an experimental .458 bolt-action rifle designed to offer American marksmen an accurate, medium-range weapon, primarily for engaging sentries and guards. It is inaudible at more than 100 metres away, though its weight and unreliability has made it infamous with the few troops which have had the chance to use it.
