The Federal Police Metropolitan Force is the branch dedicated to maintaining order exclusively within the city of Cestlep. Understandably better funded than their counterparts across Oceanyka, the capital's Metrocops usually hail from the city's middle class or the upper class' refuse. As such, they are rightly stereotyped with having all the gentlemanly manners, brutality and disdain for the poor of a "typical metrocop". Despite the Oceanykan Revolution, the institutional culture of the Metrocops has not changed much, though they've been displaced from many influential posts and areas by the OPA Military Police Corps , far more the type to tow the party line. Their ironed uniforms and comparatively flimsy armament (usually equipped with a service revolver) shouldn't be understood as a weakness, but rather a deliberate choice; metrocops are as nimble as a rat and as accurate as an eagle in firefights, extremely well trained for police standards.
