Described by many as nothing more than gangsters with a badge, the Tax Compliance Force is an armed law enforcement group commanded by the Department of the Treasury with one simple goal: find, capture and politely convince tax evaders of the error in their ways. Because the polity tax is only levied on relatively powerful and very well armed interest groups and polities, these men must have armaments and training on par with Oceanyka's many private armies, gangs, mercenary companies and tribes.
