The rubber tree is a tropical plant which is native to the Amazon basin, but has been introduced to other regions where it is cultivated for its latex, a milky substance that can be processed into natural rubber, which is later vulcanised using heat and sulphur to create Rubber. Upon This species can grow up to 43 meters tall, featuring three-lobed leaves and yellow flowers. The latex is collected by making incisions in the bark and letting it drip into buckets.
