Pistols of the Eastern bloc are famous as the instruments of zealous commissars delivering revolutionary justice. After executing a prisoner, or an enemy who has surrendered, its user gains Bloodstained.
The Makarov, or PM, is a Soviet 9x18mm handgun and an icon of the Cold War. It is a weapon for secret police, spies, commissars and hard-boiled officers; all professions which characterise the Eastern bloc. It began production in 1951 to supplant older weapons such as Nagant revolvers and TT semi-automatic pistols. PM pistols are readily available in Oceanyka, particularly in regions with a degree of Soviet influence.
