Some weapons in the Great War were used to great effect to break the stalemates of trench warfare. Assault units made up of specially trained stormtroopers from both sides of the battlefield would jump into the other's defences, putting the fight up close and personal.
The MP 18 is a German submachinegun chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. It served the Deutsches Heer during the First and Second Weltkriege, though its impact was infinitely more pronounced during the former. One of its defining traits is the fact it was issued with 32-round drum magazines, giving it a distinct visual profile. The MP 18 was the first mass-produced SMG to be designed and issued specifically tending the needs of assault troops, the German Sturmtruppen (Storm Troopers). Despite being an old design, it is still appreciated throughout Oceanyka for its manufacturing quality and ruggedness.
