This weapon is very hard to detect even after a full body check.
Zip guns are improvised firearms which usually consist of nothing but a tube, striker and perhaps some ergonomic functions (or none if they're camouflaged as other objects). Besides a Slam Gun (which is more or less the same thing upscaled to shotgun cartridges), the zip gun is the most basic firearm design imaginable. Most of them are chambered for low-powered pistol cartridges like .22 LR.
