The Special Air Service is a British special operations unit (specifically the 22 SAS Regiment) which was created during World War II to fight the Comintern and wreak havoc on their rear lines. Following the war, they were used to support British interests abroad, for example by hunting down pro-Soviet guerillas during the Malayan Emergency and the Aden Emergency. Currently, the SAS is heavily engaged in the Congo Crisis, particularly hunting down members of The Schutzstaffel.
Oceanykan military intelligence estimates there are anywhere from 20-100 SAS commandos within Oceanyka at any time, performing deep reconnaissance missions and furthering their interests, particularly in cooperation with the Republic of Sydney's government.
