The Mannlicher M1895 is an Austrian bolt-action rifle designed by Ferdinand Mannlicher, chambered in 8x50mmR Mannlicher, which is fed from a 5-round fixed magazine. This weapon served as the Hapsburg's Empire's standard service rifle during the Great War. It operates on a straight-pull principle and uses en-bloc clips to reload. Following the Austro-Hungarian Civil War, it continued to be used by its successor state (The Danubian Federation) and a number of breakaway nations until its replacement by the more advanced Brno vz. 24 Rifle.
