Mauser Model 1893

The Mauser Model 1893, colloquially known as the "Spanish Mauser", is a German bolt-action rifle which holds historical significance as one of the most influential bolt-action rifles of its era. It is typically chambered in 7x57mm Mauser, though a significant amount were made for 7.65x53mm Argentine, feeding from a 5-round fixed magazine. Developed by Paul Mauser, it was widely adopted by various military forces around the world. The Model 1893's innovative design and superior performance played a crucial role in shaping the tactics and outcomes of conflicts such as the Spanish-American War and the Boer Wars, cementing Mauser rifles as the bleeding-edge of small arms technology. Despite their age, Oceanykan Spanish Mausers can still hold their ground against much newer bolt-action rifles and are not considered obsolete.
