The Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation is a partially state-owned company based in Melbourne. It specialises in aircraft manufacturing and maintenance, providing much of the industrial and logistical background to the OPA Air Force, which owns about 40% of the company. The rest is divided between a number of private investors and the Melbourne Workers' Syndicate, particularly its Aerospace Worker's Union.
