The Supermarine Spitfire LF Mk. IX is a British fighter aircraft that holds historical significance as one of the most celebrated and effective Allied aircraft of World War II. It was developed to counter the threat of French high-altitude fighters, with an upgraded engine which allows it to reach 659 km/h. On many such aircraft the machineguns were ditched for another pair of autocannons.

First of the Few - Supermarine Spitfire UA

R. J. Mitchell, designer of the Spitfire, had been battling cancer for years and just managed to finish the fighter before passing. His masterpiece in aeronautical design became the premiere fighter of the Few, those near-suicidal British airmen who sallied out to meet France's aerial invasion, despite having a life expectancy of just four weeks in combat.

EFFECT:
If the Spitfire takes damage from an enemy, add a Very Easy DM to all skill checks regarding turnfighting until the end of the battle.
