The Smith & Wesson Model 10 is an American double-action revolver that has been in continuous production since 1899, and with millions of units produced, it is the most widely produced handgun in history. Originally it was called the Smith & Wesson Military & Police, though beginning in 1957 the design was redesignated Model 10, and most revolvers of this kind are now known as such. It is renowned for its remarkable reliability and has served law enforcement and military forces worldwide. There exist a wide variety of available barrel lengths ranging from the infamous "snub-nosed" 2-inch barrels to the full-size 6-inch barrels, though the pistol is only produced for .38 Special. In Oceanyka it is an emblematic sidearm of public security agents such as the Federal Police and local law enforcement.
