ACME Atomic Industries, typically shortened to ACME or ACME Atomics, is an Oceanykan energy corporation that specialises in nuclear energy. It was formed in early 1962 using capital from the Department of the Treasury, friendly corporate interests, The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the Australian Workers' Union. This gives ACME a unique composition: it is partially state owned, partially privately owned and partially collectivised. Because of its nature, the Atomic Regulations Enforcement Section has ACME under heavy supervision and demands thorough record-keeping from it.
This corporation offers few, highly specialised products and services:
- Commercial Nuclear Fuel, specifically LEU, HEU and TOX.
- The Mark I Microfission Cell.
- The ACME Liberator Minireactor.
- Construction, maintenance and operation of advanced nuclear reactors.
Despite being one of the youngest corporations in the Oceanykan Federation, the 1962 Oil Crisis has allowed it to soar in value, becoming one of the world's fastest-growing companies.
