Traveling north and west for a while, in a wagon drawn by the horses, Gerald and Esmeralda, the party came across a fork in the road. Spotting a trail of blood leading off the road to a corpse underneath a tree, there were several hooded figures surrounding it. Acting as if by instinct when Mordus shouted, the cloaked figures attacked. After taking them out, Mordus communicated with the deceased cultists (likely related to Awakened Goldbillowing Gallivanter) and learned several things according to them: That Ulmarra was long gone and likely dead; that the reason the party was attacked by them was that it was a 'competition', and they hunt each other to grow stronger with each kill. From the corpse under the tree, dead before they arrived here, they learned that he was killed by 'the blue woman' (likely Ulmarra). She was alone, but they could sense her presence.
Arriving later at a bridge crossing a river, combat broke out as two figures appeared and stopped the wagon in its tracks before conjuring two water elementals from the river. The cultists were taken out quickly but the elementals proved to need greater effort as they attempted to drag the party away and underwater.
Getting back on the road, later that evening Alyk started hissing at Devinn, not seeming to recognize him. The cleric spoke in a strange and ancient language, but they could not explain the nature of it, and soon after it ended.
As the party drove into a canyon in the early morning on the 21st of Suntide, Mordus was the first to detect the incoming enemies as many dozens of them appeared in torrents of purple waters on all sides. As they brandished their weapons, the party spotted another wagon blowing onto the main road. On top was a small, lithe human figure, at the front a bulking half-orc, and within a half-orc woman and a caithuna character dressed in white armor. They took out several cultists, and soon a great fight will commence.
