The Jade Dancer

A festhall well worth the high price for its entertaining dancer-escorts and excellent drinks.

This raucous haunt of the young, free, and ardently romantic opens onto Dancing Court and looks like what it is: a warehouse with a grand front tacked on.

Inside, musicians play from a hanging gallery suspended from the ceiling above a raised central stage where dancers and singers perform. The stage and gallery dominate an open central well that soars up to a roof skylight. Interior balconies on the upper floors ring the central well and look down onto the stage, connected by three large, wide-curving circular staircases.

The establishment is known for its entertain dancer escorts, who happily mingle with patrons, and is named for its star attraction: the eponymous Jade, a magically animated life-sized jade statue, fashioned like a humanoid female. As it dances, illusory ankle-length hair swirls around it.
