Blackstar Inn
This dignified—even haughty—inn is like a fortress on the outside, with barred windows, stone walls, and a slate roof. Its lobby has two armed guards, and the four hostlers in the locked stables are also armed.
Fees are high, but in return, guests get almost soundproof rooms equipped with a double bed, an ever-warm hip-bath, water and wine, and various pamphlets and chapbooks provided for light reading. Each room also has its own fireplace, though the firewood tends to be rather miserly supplied.
