Watch of the Sea Ward
Waterdeep has both a standing army (the @JournalEntry[pwfaF7I6eHWN2Lbg]{City Guard}) and a police force (the @JournalEntry[8teqLd92Q9kQOY00]{City Watch}). Though they often work together, the average Waterdhavian or visitor to the city will most often come into contact with watch street patrols.
Within the Sea Ward, watch patrols are quite frequent and officers are always polite and generally lightly armed, as most of the miscreants they find are well-dressed drunken nobles. The Watch deals swiftly with any other disruptions and their tolerance for any vandalism, violence or theft is quite low.
Each patrol contains four watchmen, though some are assigned a fifth who acts as a watch-wizard seconded to the City Watch by the Watchful Order of Magists & Protectors.
The Wardsman of Sea Ward's City Watch is Polona Havyn. She is the officer in charge of all the guardposts and patrols of the ward and is assigned to Tabra's Watchpost.
Each watchpost is headed by a Rorden, who are in charge of the patrols therein.
