Inn of the Dripping Dagger

This cozy old inn is well-known as the favorite watering hole and resting place for sellswords, and its reputation for good-natured roughhousing keeps the timid away from its doors. A row of lamps at its front illuminate the hanging dripping dagger signboard and the entry door, which is covered with many bloodstains and weapon scars. It is a popular location for those with aerial mounts, as its flat roof has rings set into the stone statues adorning their edges for the easy tethering of mounts.

Despite its grisly signage—and the cryptic and seemingly-menacing phrases its haunted front door utters at random—the Dagger is comfortably-furnished and welcoming. The warrior guests seem to relax completely here, and laugh, joke, and play at dice, cards, or board games with easy, lazy enjoyment and laughter rings often around the taproom. Those non-combatants daring enough to brave the Dagger are greeted affably and treated with courtesy, rather than being made to feel unwelcome or out of place.
