A decadent and costly inn whose saving grace is its strategic placement where the High Road meets Waterdeep Way. Its furnishings are opulent, though not tasteful. Huge tapestries and massive, heavily-gilded pieces of furniture are everywhere, and the canopied beds are the only comfortable place to sit.

Nevertheless, it makes a brisk trade off of its locations, its reputation for excellent service, and the views offered by its Imperial Suites on the fifth and sixth floors.
