Seven Masks Theater

The Seven Masks Theater is a Dock Ward establishment that caters to Dock Ward locals, putting on low-budget but popular plays. It's popular among ship captains and sailors familiar with Waterdeep, who are admitted free or charge.

A popular point of conversation regarding newcomers to the theater is its founder, Malkolm Brizzenbright. He's been dead for over thirty years, and his ghost greets all visitors to the Masks' lobby. Dressed in an outdated suit, his hair unkempt, he floats in plain sight most of the time, waving his hands about in gestures of greeting and salutation. Locals are accustomed to his spectral form and often engage him in light conversation.

Its current proprietor is rarely present; he entrusts its running to his stage managers and spends his days exploring the Sword Coast in search of new experiences and fresh talent.
