History

After two stable eras, every god of knowledge also became the god of madness. Unfortunately, no mortal god could sustain the Knowledge portfolio without going insane. Emansti and Ophia, sisters from the Dreamlands with heavy connections to the Material Plane, decided to try and finally tackle the matter themselves. However, their solution was not perfect.

Both sisters knew that being immortal beings did not protect them from the insanity resulting from taking the Knowledge portfolio. However, their unique existence allowed for a very unique solution: one single ritual of ascension, broken midway through, coupled with a ritual that would merge their minds, allowing one to become the Goddess of Knowledge, and the other, the Goddess of Madness. This choice, was left to fate.
