Palukk is the house special at The Wanking Walrus; Various tiny fish are dumped into a small bottle of overproof white rum, which causes them to jump like mad. The bottle is then whipped up with a vigorous spinning maneuver, and then poured down the gullet. For every fish you drop, a bystander will traditionally give you a spank on the arse. If you can keep it all down, the house will buy everyone a free round; if it comes back up, the next round is on you.

The Arena

Capable of comfortably accommodating 50,000 spectators, the Arena of Tulavictus Castleplays host to gladiatorial combats, executions, and public functions such as royal oratories, musical performances, and plays.

Most if not all of these events are gambled on. Bets are taken on the success or failure of executions, even. Pirates are the most frequently executed. It is said that the Arena has a prize Gorgops as large as a Gryphon who kills men ten at a time.

Duels are also held here, when they are sanctioned by the Cult of Aygir. It is rumored that the king has his own underground club for less public affairs of honor, though.

Drangleic Castle

The name Drangleic translates roughly as "Drang's Gravestone". Deep below the keep, in fact, lay the remains of St. Drang, along with hundreds of his descendants spanning more than 80 generations.

As you walk through the gatehouse, you pass over several iron grates. These are long, narrow pits with no escape, called "the forgetful dungeon". In the arena, pirate crewmen entertain us with their deaths, but captains are sent here to go mad in the dark while hadrus shit drizzles down onto them. Above, there are kill holes from which pour boiling oil, when the castle is attacked.

The great hall seats 2,200 quite comfortably. Rows of tables encircle a large seawater fountain with a statue of Aygir, and are surrounded by large stone fireplaces with ornate black ironwork. Massive archtree columns support the roof, and are ornately carved with a three dimensional depiction of Sandringham's history; navies sunk by epic storms, duels between vying pretenders to the throne, even St. Drang's fateful plunge into the abyss is all carved into the archtrees of the great hall. The height of the floor increases toward the center, where the king sits facing the statue. From here, he can address the entire enclave.

The many turrets and towers studding the exterior of the keep are mostly late additions commissioned at need. The best among them are fit for a prince, equipped with glass windows overlooking the entire sea. The poorer accommodations lack lighting, heat, or even a garderobe.

The lower regions of the keep are mostly for work - military command, servant's quarters, kitchens, storerooms, cisterns, and the administrative workings of the kingdom.
