After the Mun-Hadar Rapids and the Seleng Nahr, the Tamar River. This is where most of the fishing is done. Here the river is calm and deep enough to be navigable, yet narrow enough to be bridged. Indeed the freehold at Kurzmarch Ford began as market stalls on bridges built for that purpose, as to avoid the taxes of either country. Though the taxes have lapsed, the bridges remain.

Woe betide any who fall afoul of the The Tamar Towpath Cartel, whose agents patrol the region.

In The Mashayan Dominion this stretch of river is still called Alsurea Nahr, but along the eastern banks the whole stretch is Tamar.
