One hundred and forty years ago, the Pontiff of Clifwick had visions that led him astray from faith in Cult of Karna... Visions of wind and darkness.

He began to proselytize lightning in defiance of sunlight, and life. Is it not brighter?, he asked the throngs. Is it not plain to see that the fulminating bolts reach down from heaven? This is a power known not to the glaring gods, he would rant.

Instead of the cults of Karna or Speed, the Elect worship Tempest. They call it a god, but who can say?
